In this workshop we will look at the different ways money and our brain, and wellness, are connected.
We’ll look at the biological connection, the psychological connection and the behavioural connection.
Did you know that when you are stressed out/emotional, your brain and body go into fight or flight mode because that’s the oldest, most automatic coping mechanism? And that when we do, the blood flow to our neocortex (our thinking brain) decreases by 80%?
Based on that alone, it warrants having a look at all the ways emotions impact our money decisions. This goes much deeper than just having a bad day, or the well accepted ‘retail therapy’.
